A Modular Carpet System
- Free-lay carpet tiles normally are 18" or 20" squares.
- Modules are designed for no glue use.
- Double sided carpet tape may be used in doorways or around the perimeter when not carpeting to the walls.
- 100% Zeftron face (an advanced generation thermally pigmented nylon pile).
- Colored to the core (100's of colors available)
- Fiberglass reinforced thermoplastic backing
- Modules are embossed on the back with arrows to denote pile direction.
- Cutting the modules is easy. Cuts are best made from the back whether using a template for fitting around columns or at the room perimeter.
- Immediate access to under floor utility conduits
- Unlimited design possibilities ... checks, borders, diamonds, doorways, aisles. (See pictures above)
- Tiles can be rotated to retain appearance where traffic patterns cause noticeable wear.
- They can be removed and cleaned to contain spills or perform spot maintenance.
- In the event of permanent disfigurement, tiles can even be discarded and replaced without disturbing the installation.
- Tiles have a 12 to 15 year life cycle rating, as opposed to a 7 year average rating for broadloom.
- They are soil retardant and liquid repellent.
- Through patented technology, each carpet tile is manufactured with precision engineering to remain in place without being glued down and perform beautifully through the years.
- Perhaps the greatest single advantage of carpet tile over broadloom is its day to day serviceability.
